Çocukken evde minderlerden tank yapardım. Tankın düğmelerini ve bomba atma sesini melodika ile uydururdum. Bu oyuna kızkardeşim, bir bebek ile dahil olmak isterdi. Kabul ederdim ve askercilik oynamaya başlardık. Fakat kısa bir süre içinde kızkardeşim diğer bebeklerini ve ocağını hatta küçük plastik tenceresini tanka taşırdı. Askercilik oyunu hızla ciddiyetini kaybederdi ve evcilik oynamaya başlardık.
When I was a child, I used to make a tank out of large sitting room cushions. I used to emulate the sound of the tank’s controls and the shooting of bombs with my melodica. My younger sister wanted to join in this game with a baby doll. I used to accept her offer and we would then begin to play at soldiers. However, after a while, my sister would bring her other dolls, her toy stove and even her small plastic pot into the tank. The game of playing at soldiers would rapidly lose all its seriousness and we would begin to play house.
